# Brief mission statement

To create a curriculum for K-12 and undergraduates. Each section will be accompanied by relevant YouTube videos and webpages. We will cover the standard curriculum, but we will also mix in rich tasks (as defined by NRICH) to provide students with a more enjoyable experience. Older students will learn about the history of mathematics. Students will be given impossible problems. Students will see unsolved problems so they understand that mathematics is not done and dusted. If a proof or derivation is comprehensible then we give it. Students will be shown paradoxes. Students will see false proofs. Whenever a lesson can be given with manipulatives, visuals, or interactives, we do so. Many visual proofs are comprehensible to high school students, so we incorportate those proofs into the algebra 2 curriculum.
