Students will learn what rep-tiles and irrep-tiles are. Before giving a definition, you should lead the activities found here and here, in any order. Then define rep-tile and irrep-tile. Definitions can be found here. After giving a definition and showing a couple examples of rep-tiles and a couple irrep-tiles, challenge your students to find others.
