Students will learn how to factor non-monic quadratics by removing the GCD. First, students will learn how to factor non-monic quadratics which become linear after factoring out the GCD. For example, \(3x^2 - 54x = 3x(x - 18).\) After that, students will learn how to factor non-monic quadratics that become monic after removing the GCD. For example, $$6x^2 - 18x + 12 = 6(x^2 - 3x + 2)$$
